On 12th August, our Grade X students embarked on a fascinating journey into the world of plant reproduction. Through a hands-on dissection of a Hibiscus flower, they gained a deeper understanding of the intricate process of sexual reproduction in plants.Guided by their teacher, students carefully examined the flower’s structure, observing its vibrant colors, symmetry, and reproductive organs. They dissected the androecium and gynoecium, identifying the stamens, anthers, pistils, and ovary. This experiential learning not only enhanced their knowledge but also fostered essential skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. By making complex concepts tangible, the dissection activity provided a memorable and engaging learning experience, preparing students for future academic endeavors.
