On 12th April, the students of Grade X C presented a thought-provoking and impactful special assembly on the theme “Screen Time: Striking a Healthy Balance.” Through a powerful blend of creativity, facts, and dramatization, they shed light on the adverse effects of excessive screen usage, a growing concern in today’s digital age. Their presentation explored both the psychological and physical consequences of screen addiction—ranging from eye strain and disrupted sleep to anxiety and social withdrawal. What made their session truly stand out was the relatable and engaging manner in which they communicated these concerns, encouraging peers to reflect on their own screen habits. With clever role-plays, interactive visuals, and real-life scenarios, the students didn’t just talk about the problem—they offered solutions. From setting screen-time limits and taking tech-free breaks to engaging in offline hobbies and spending time with family, they inspired practical steps toward a more balanced lifestyle. The session left a lasting impression on the audience, sparking meaningful conversations about responsible digital behaviour. Grade 10C’s message was clear and powerful: technology is a tool, not a trap—and striking a healthy balance is essential for overall well-being.
