A special activity was presented on 11th February for the Pre-primary children as part of Fun Friday. It is important for kids to socialize at a young age and be able to have a certain level of freedom to grow and develop independently. With spring in the air, the class started with a friendly talk and ended with a safety song that children boogied to.
With a thought that personal safety is an important aspect of child development, the teachers gave an age-appropriate presentation empowering children to take part in their own protection. A story on ‘Fire Safety’ was read to the children. They also recollected the session on strangers – danger and good touch – bad touch.
The essence of home safety rules was well projected with a song, followed by an open interaction with children. It was splendid to see the awareness children have towards fire safety. We hope this little effort made for children would reduce the likelihood of a child into an unsafe situation.
