On 11th and 12th March 2025, Suchitra Academy hosted a Parent Orientation for Grades III–V and Grades I–II, led by Ms. Kamlesh, Head of the Pre-Primary and Primary segments. The session provided valuable insights into the curriculum, key initiatives, and the school’s ‘No Child Left Behind’ approach, highlighting programs like Project-Based Learning (PBL), DEAR Time, Amira Reading, and hands-on activities.
Through interactive experiences, parents gained firsthand exposure to teaching methodologies, including a Chinese Whisper game emphasizing effective communication. Discussions on child development underscored the importance of positive reinforcement over harsh discipline, fostering confidence and emotional resilience in young learners.
Principal Ms. Deepa Kapoor addressed parents on the school’s core values, the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP), and the balance between academics and co-curricular activities. Engaging math demonstrations and LSRW-based learning strategies further reinforced the school’s commitment to holistic education.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, fostering collaboration between parents and educators to ensure a meaningful and enriching learning journey for students.
